No! There are zero recurring subscription fees associated with the Remembrance Key or memorial content services. The cost of maintaining the memorial website is factored into the price of the medallion. 

MyRemembrance has taken appropriate precautions to ensure the domain and website are active along with the medallion for generations to come.

Please be weary of companies offering bargain basement pricing for a similar medallion with QR code along with an associated memorial web page.  There are cheap solutions currently available that are not likely to be functional in five years.  A QR Code is only as good as the domain and website to which it is connected.  Buyer beware!

Yes!  You may select as many people as you would like to access the memorial site and contribute content to a given Digital Memorial.  As the Primary Account Owner, you will maintain sole discretion of what content is allowed to be posted on your memorial site. Each person that you designate will receive an email instructing them to register for free and establish a username and password for authentication.

It is easy to use, simply scan the QR code that is displayed on the medallion using a smartphone or QR code scanner and you will be automatically directed to the Digital Memorial where you can view and share memories.

The 2-inch diameter Remembrance Key is designed to be permanently adhered to a gravestone or marker, while the 3½-inch diameter Remembrance Key comes in an elegant wooden case suitable for in-home display.  

The 2-inch Remembrance Key is permanently attached to a grave marker by peeling off the protective backing on the back of the medallion and holding and pressing the industrial-grade adhesive on the back of the medallion against the gravestone, following the appropriate cleaning of the surface where the adhesive will be applied.

The 2-inch Remembrance Key is designed to blend with the gravestone rather than detract from the stately appearance of the gravesite.  We believe that the round design highlighting the QR code provides the appropriate gateway for a digital memorial page.

An independent family tree medallion permanently marked with a QR code that is linked directly to an online family tree platform will be useful to those researching and sharing  family genealogy.  In contrast to the family tree accessible through the purchase of a Gravesite or Memorial Display Medallion, the Family Tree medallion QR code is linked directly to the featured family tree, as opposed to the memorial content of a family member.  Family members may choose to have duplicate medallions created so that they can place at the gravesite of family members from previous generations.  This provides the opportunity for families to stay connected to the gravesites of family members that might otherwise be forgotten as the generations pass.

You can facilitate the QR Code redirect through the MyRemembrance admin tool, and you always have the option of creating a Digital Memorial on the MyRemembrance website should you ever choose to.  You may also choose to redirect the QR Code to a different third-party memorial site in the future if you wish.

You may upload photos and videos directly to the Digital Memorial from your phone or computer.

Yes, you or one of your designated content contributors may update the content on the Digital Memorial at any time, allowing you to refresh the memorial site with newly discovered memories.

The interactive Family Tree application that connects the generations, from cherished ancestors to new additions.  The Family Tree provides a mechanism to keep all family members connected both in the present as well as with the past.  You may choose to restrict access or make the family tree available to guests viewing the memorial site.  If you restrict access, you will be able to select invite those that you want to be able to access the family tree to receive login credentials via email.

MyRemembrance offers a lifetime warranty. If there are any defects or damages, we will replace the Remembrance Key at no additional cost.  As each medallion is custom made, we are unable to accept returns. If there are any issues with your medallion, please contact us via the website.  Please note that there might be slight variations between each custom-made medallion.
